UNH and NBC Sports Boston to broadcast entire home Wildcats football schedule
3/2/2021 10:30:00 AM | Football
Wildcats open their season on Friday, March 5 vs. UAlbany at 7 p.m.
Special Announcement from UNH President James Dean (March 1, 2021)
We know these are challenging times. We continue to look for ways to provide access to in-person opportunities, but for now, no spectators are permitted at any athletics game, inside or out. The first home football game Friday, March 5, will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Boston and streamed online starting at 7 p.m. We know this is disappointing for many of you, but there are opportunities to engage safely; the university's main calendar lists a variety of other choices.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire Department of Athletics and NBC Sports Boston announced its three-game home broadcast schedule for Wildcat Football on NBC Sports Boston -- New England's home for the Boston Celtics and New England Revolution.
UNH football will begin competition without spectators this Friday following the displacement of its traditional fall season to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HOW TO FIND NBC SPORTS BOSTON
UNH and NBC Sports Boston are entering the third year of a partnership that has broadcast 11 live UNH football games from Wildcat Stadium to over four million homes throughout New England. The broadcast partnership provides easy access for UNH fans and alumni to stay connected to the team with live in-game coverage of Wildcats football during the pandemic.
"We are excited to continue this partnership with NBC Sports Boston, which enables us to reach so many current and future Wildcat football fans, alumni and friends throughout New England," said UNH Executive Director of Athletics Jon Danos. "It is particularly meaningful to collaborate on a first-rate production during a time when we are unable to welcome fans in-person".
The broadcast schedule, which may also include NBC Sports Boston sister channel NECN, features the season opener against UAlbany on Friday, March 5 (7pm), as well as the Saturday, March 20 home contest against the University of Delaware (12pm) and the final home game of the regular season on Saturday, April 10 against Stony Brook University (12pm).
CHECK OUT THE FULL SPRING 2021 SCHEDULE
All telecasts will be produced by UNH Wildcat Productions, the athletic department's in-house production team. Fans can check local listings for NBC Sports Boston and NECN.
