DURHAM, N.H. – Ossie McLeod '58 was honored as UNH Athletics "Donors of the Game" during Saturday's football game against Dartmouth College at Wildcat Stadium.
Ossie graduated from the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture in 1958 and has been a loyal wildcat supporter for over 35 years. A former football and men's lacrosse athlete, he has since found new ways to stay connected and give back to his alma mater. Ossie has supported UNH in a number of ways over the years, including the 'Cat Club Locker Room Project, the Wildcat Stadium Project, and various additional support that has positively impacted the university as a whole.
"I loved my time at this university and getting to come back each year, it makes all of the difference – I've been very fortunate in life, and having the opportunity to give back to a place filled with so many memories, and a place that I believe in, it's been wonderful," McLeod said. "The memories I have of balancing my studies, the sports I was involved in, getting married and starting a family all while I was an undergraduate, they are some of my favorites to look back on – I just love it here".
UNH Athletics is grateful for the loyalty, commitment and unwavering support from Ossie McLeod, as well as all supporters of the Wildcats. Your support, no matter the amount, has a tremendous impact on our student-athletes and their ability to achieve their athletic and academic goals.
