Wildcat Presentations at Undergraduate Research Conference

DURHAM, N.H. – Ten student-athletes representing 10 teams were part of the 21st Annual Undergraduate Research Conference, a celebration of academic excellence at the University of New Hampshire that showcases the results of students' research, scholarly, and creative projects.
This year's Undergraduate Research Conference presentations were moved to an online platform; the URC is typically held at various professional and artistic venues on campus. Click on each photo to see that student-athlete's presentation.
Abby Chapman (Beverly Hills, Mich.), a senior on the women's ice hockey team, presents her project "Analysis of Jamie Dimon: Impact of Leadership and Culture at J.P. Morgan Chase" in the Paul College URC.

Michaella Conery (Concord, N.H.), a senior on the women's cross country and track & field teams, explains "The Art of Tapering" with regards to running performance in the Honors English URC.
Emily Dolloff-Holt (Austin, Colo.), a junior on the swimming & diving team, created an oral presentation featured in the COLA & Paul multidisciplinary section entitled "Biases in Murder Investigations."
Andrew Meyer (Bozeman, Mont.), a sophomore on the men's ski team, produced a presentation "ECON CLIMATE. Climate Policies in New Zealand" that is featured in the Paul College URC.
Acadia Momm-White (Portsmouth, N.H.), a sophomore on the women's track & field team, presented her study "Plastic Consumption and Recycling Behaviors Between Biological Sex at UNH and ECSU Campuses" in the COLSA URC.
Madeline Quigley (Rowley, Mass.), a senior on the women's cross country and track & field teams, created the project "Comparison of Relative Fat Mass Equation and Body Mass Index in Predicting Body Composition of Male Collegiate Athletes" that is featured in poster presentations: COLSA.
Kayla Sliz (Ajax, Ontario) of the field hockey team had two presentations. Her project entitled "More than just a captain's band: an investigation into the role of leadership for women in collegiate sport" is featured in the oral presentations: COLA & Paul multidisciplinary section.
Sliz also presented "Personal intelligence as a new recruitment tool: A psychological predictor for sport performance?" in the Psychology Department George M. Haslerud URC.
Ashley Storey (Cumberland, Maine), a senior on the women's basketball team, produced an oral presentation "Building our Field of Dreams: UNH Education Students' Perspectives on Expanding Field Experiences in their Program" that is featured in the COLA & CHHS multidisciplinary section.
Ryan Spelman (Franklin, Mass.), a junior on the men's cross country and track & field teams, documents his project "Evaluating the potential of Chitosan for suppression of Gray mold caused by B. cinerea on Floriculture Crops" that is part of the COLSA URC.
Emma Woodhouse (Collingwood, Ontario), a senior on the women's ski team, contributed to the project "Marketing Workshop – Community Loan Fund" in the Paul College URC.
