
Angus Crookshank Named HEA Co-Player of the Week

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – University of New Hampshire sophomore forward Angus Crookshank (North Vancouver, British Columbia) has been named the Hockey East Co- Player of the Week. He posted three goals and one assist for four points as the Wildcats went 2-0-0 with two overtime wins at the Whittemore Center. This is his third Hockey East weekly award of his career as he also earned Rookie of the Week accolades twice as a freshman.
He scored the game-winning overtime goal versus No. 15 Boston College on Friday, Nov. 1, while he tallied two goals and one assist for three points as UNH defeated the Big Green on Saturday, 5-4, in overtime. Crookshank is tied for the team lead with four goals, while he also has one assist for five points, while he has recorded 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points.
The Wildcats (4-2-1, 2-1-0 Hockey East) will host No. 2 UMass (6-1-0, 2-1-0 Hockey East) on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. for Salute to Service presented by Service Credit Union on NESN. The first 1,000 fans will receive military buffs. The Minutemen advanced to the 2019 NCAA championship game.
