Cheerleading Secures All-Girl Division I National Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of New Hampshire Cheerleading Team attended the 2017 National Cheerleading Association Collegiate National Championships and secured the All-Girl Division I National Title on Friday, April 7.

In the preliminary round, the team had a solid performance that put them in second place by only six tenths of a point heading into finals. During the final round of competition, UNH nailed their routine on the bandshell, securing the title as National Champions in All-Girl Division 1 with a final score of 91.50, edging out the other five teams in the division. This is the first NCA title won in UNH Cheerleading history. The Wildcats have not won a cheerleading national championship in over 15 years; since 2002 when the team won Universal Cheerleading Association National Championship.
