UNH Athletics to Host America East Health & Safety Summit June 13-14

DURHAM, N.H. --Â The University of New Hampshire will host the first-ever America East Health & Safety Summit that will take place June 13-14. The summit is the latest initiative of the conference's #3Pillars Academy.

The event will feature in-depth dialog and best-practice sharing among administrators from America East's member institutions. Attendees include certified athletic trainers, sports medicine staff members, team physicians, and other senior administrators and select Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) members from each institution.Â
Topics covered at the summit will include mental health, nutrition, concussion and head trauma, drug testing, sudden cardiac arrest and more.Â
