UNH CHEERLEADING FINISHES SECOND OVERALL AT NCA COLLEGIATE CHEER CHAMPIONSHIP

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of New
Hampshire All-Girl cheer team finished with a program high 2nd
place title Friday afternoon in the 2010 NCA Collegiate Cheer
Championship. Kennesaw State University took home the championship
title with a score of 8.695 and UNH finished with an 8.048 to earn
the second place title.
The 2nd place finish marks the highest in the program's
history in the NCA All-Girl I division. “We are very proud of
this team and their accomplishment this weekend. We've
faced some adversity and fought through it. I couldn't
be more proud of the way we finished this week out," said head
coach Shauna Norris Foley.
Try-outs for 2010-11 cheer squad will be held on May 8 and 9, 2010
at the Field House in Durham, N.H. For more information, contact
