Women's Cross Country Places 14th at ECACs


BRONX, N.Y. – Senior Allison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) finished fourth overall as the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team placed 14th at the 26th ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday afternoon to wrap up its season.

The Wildcats finished with 346 points, while the University at Albany won the 23-team meet with 49 points.

Letourneau completed the five-kilometer course in a time of 18 minutes, 24.7 seconds.

Junior Lucy Garfield (Hanover, N.H.) finished 45th in a time of 19:27.2.

Freshman Julia Credendino (Islip, N.Y.) was 87th in a time of 20:07.8.

Senior Katherine Chwasciak (Webster, N.H.) and sophomore Megan Trow (Fall Mountain, N.H.) placed 121st and 128th, respectively, in times of 20:35.6 and 20:40.6.

Freshman Brenna McLaughlin (Derry, N.H.) rounded out the Wildcat scorers, finishing 155th in the 209-runner field in a time of 21:10.4.
