WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY EARNS ACADEMIC HONOR

NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Thursday that the University of New Hampshire women’s cross country team was one of 160 squads named to the 2008 NCAA Division I USTFCCCA Women’s All-Academic Team.

 

The Wildcats, who finished ninth at the 34-team NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Qualifier on Nov. 15 at Van Cortlandt Park., compiled a team grade-point average of 3.19.

 

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet.  The team must also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade point average.
