WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CAPTURES SECOND AT MURRAY KEATINGE INVITE

    Orono, Maine –University of New Hampshire women’s cross country junior Catherine Parker (Westford, Mass) ran the 5K course in 16:53.60 for a third place finish to lead the Wildcats to a second place effort at the Murray Keatinge Invitational on Saturday in Orono, Maine.
    Texas Tech notched 27 team points to capture the victory, while UNH finished with 94. Dartmouth ran to a third place effort with 110 points. St. Frances Xavier tallied 111 and Vermont rounded out the top five with 122 team points.
    Wildcat harrier Emily Mareb (Great Barrington, Mass.) placed 12th overall (17:48.34), while teammate Kimberly Povec (Hollend-Patent, N.Y.) rounded out the top 20 (18:03.78).
    The Wildcats return to action on Saturday (Oct. 7) at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts to compete at the New England Championships.
