UNH Women's Cross Country ranked in National Poll

DURHAM, N.H. -The University of New Hampshire women's cross country team broke into the national poll this week after an impressive performance this weekend at Central Connecticut State Invitational.

UNH captured the meet with 36 points anchored by Lesley Read's (Dover, N.H.) winning performance. Caitlyn Hayes (Keene, N.H.), Megan Hepp (Milton, Vt.), and Katie Litwinowich (Holden, Mass.) helped to seal the win with top seven performances for the Wildcats.

The 'Cats finished 39th in the voting released on Monday, September 22, 2003. The national poll is conducted by FinishLynx and is voted on by select members of the United States Cross Country Coaches Association.

The women's next meet is the Murray Keatinge Invitational Saturday, October 4th in Orono, Maine.
