Jeff Aucoin returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2012 season. Aucoin, who graduated from UNH with a Kinesiology: Sports Studies degree in May 2011, previously served as a volunteer coach with the volleyball program for two seasons.
As a volunteer assistant coach, Aucoin was responsible for film editing, scouting opponents, assisting with travel, compiling post-game statistics, and general instruction in the areas of defense, hitting and blocking.
While at UNH, Aucoin was a four-year member of the men’s club volleyball team including club president for three years. He helped lead the team to a NCVF Division 1AA National Championship as a senior, earning Most Valuable Player honors at the NCVF Tournament.
In 2012, Aucoin earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sport from Ball State University, where he was a member of the men’s varsity volleyball team. While earning a degree at Ball State, he also served as the assistant coach of the Munciana Volleyball Club team.
Aucoin, a native of Brighton, Mass., also coached at the Seacoast Volleyball Club as well as the Central Mass Volleyball Club.
