Volleyball Captures 5-3 Record at UNH Spring Tournament

DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team went 5-3 in spring tournament play at Lundholm Gymnasium on Saturday. The Wildcats won sets over Harvard, Northeastern, Boston College and Hartford.

Set Scores were as follows:
1-1 vs. Harvard 25-15, 18-25
1-1 vs. Northeastern 18-25, 25-18
1-1 vs. Boston College 25-17, 15-25
2-0 vs. Hartford 25-18, 25-22
0-1 vs. UNH Volleyball Alumni  
UNH alumni team included (Jessie Schnepp '13,  Kelly Harte '10, UNH Men's Alum – Jeff Aucoin, Sean Stewart, Nate Brouwer, current student assistant Mac Barron)

The Wildcats were led offensively by Cassidy Croci (Sylvania, Ohio), who had 14 kills, hit for a .464 hitting percentage, had six blocks and 22 points. Abby Brinkman (Brecksville, Ohio) notched 17 kills and added 13 digs. Taylor Dunklau recorded a team-high 69 assists and added four service aces as well as 21 digs. Defensively, Sam Henke (Millersville, Md.) tallied 23 digs and notched a  2.3 serve/receive rating. Morgan Thatcher (Brockton, Mass.) chipped in with 16 kills (4 kills/set), 21 digs (5.3 digs/set) and 20 points (5 points/set).
