Volleyball Goes 4-4 at UConn Spring Tournament

DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team went 4-4 in spring tournament play at UConn on Saturday. The Wildcats won sets over Boston College (2-0) and Providence (2-0 and dropped a pair of sets apiece to Yale (2-0) and UConn (2-0).

The set scores were as followed:
UNH 2 – BC 0  (29-27, 25-23)
UNH 2 – Providence 0 (25-14, 25-23)
UNH 0 – Yale 2 (19-25, 27-29)
UNH 0 – UCONN 2 (25-27, 22-25)
 
Morgan Thatcher (Brockton, Mass.) led with way with 31 kills hitting a .232, eight blocks for 41 points. Cassidy Croci (Sylvania, Ohio) had the team's highest hitting percentage with .256, 15 kills, nine blocks (25 points). Brenna Buckwalter (Evergreen, Colo.) notched a team-high 10 blocks and also added 14 kills (24 points). Defensively, Katie Sattora (Avon, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with 30 digs. Taylor Dunklau (Mukowonago, Wis.) paced the offensive attack with  89 assists and also added 22 digs.
