  – Kirsten Bates (Calgary, Alberta) recorded a match-high 17 kills and added six digs to help propel the University of New Hampshire volleyball team to Tuesday night’s 3-0 victory (30-20, 30-23, 30-28) on the road at Harvard University. Registering their fourth-straight win, the Wildcats improve to 10-4 overall, while the Crimson fall to 3-5.
   The ‘Cats, who have now won seven-consecutive games over the last three matches, set the tone early by taking game one 30-20 and hitting at a match-best .333 clip for the game. In comparison, Harvard hit at .181 overall and had a single-game high of .220 in Game 3.
   In addition to Bates, Kate Uitti (Pinckney, Mich.) set up the attack with a match-high 38 assists, while defensive specialist Alyse Lahti (Pepper Pike, Ohio) finished with a match-best 23 digs. Also contributing on offensively was Toni Barnas (Cary, Ill.), who recorded 11 kills and a .226 hitting percentage vs. the Crimson. Emmy Blouin (St. Albert, Alberta) and Jessica Compton (Woodridge, Ill.) each added six kills.
New Hampshire returns to action Sept. 25 as they play host to intra-state rival Dartmouth College in its final non-conference tilt of the season. Start time at Lundholm Gymnasium is 7 p.m.
