WILDCAT VOLLEYBALL INKS TWO RECRUITS FOR 2007 SEASON
DURHAM, N.H. – Head Coach Jill Hirschinger has announced the signing of Kelly Boich (Mundelein, Ill.) and Sara Heldman (Greenwood, Ind.) to national letters of intent to play for the Wildcats beginning in the fall of 2007.
Boich, a 6-1 middle blocker, currently attends Mudelein High School. She also plays club volleyball for Sky High. Boich was named team MVP in 05-06 and Most Improved in 04-05 playing for Mundelein High School.
“Kelly will be our fourth Sky High student-athlete in the program and we're looking for great things from her as well.  Kelly's natural athleticism will give us depth at the middle position next year.  We're excited for her to be a Wildcat,” said Hirschinger.
Heldman is a 5-9 setter who plays for Center Grove High School under coach Deb McClurg. She has posted 1073 assists and 226 digs in her career with the Trojans in 108 games. Heldman was an All-County honoree in 2005, a All-Indy South team and a All-MIC Conference player in 2006. She also played club volleyball for Team Indiana and Circle City. Boich and Heldman are both playing for club teams that were ranked in the Top 10 nationally last year.
“We're thrilled to add Sara Heldman to the Wildcat Family.  She is a natural competitor and her intensity on the court will help us tremendously.  Sara comes from a very challenging club program and will bring with her years of experience on one of the top teams in the country,” Hirschinger said.
