DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team is currently ranked eighth in the Northeast region American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings as voted by the 45 coaches in the Northeast region. This marks the highest regional ranking for the Wildcat volleyball team in the program's history.

The Wildcat volleyball team, in the midst of an 11-match win streak, currently owns a 21-10 record on the season and a 11-1 mark in America East action.

New Hampshire will host the America East volleyball tournament at Lundholm Gym on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24. The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Nov. 23 at 1p.m against No. 4 seed University at Albany and in the second semifinal at 3:30 p.m., No. 2 seed Northeastern University will face No. 3 seed Stony Brook University. The winner of each match will play in the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m. for the automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.
