DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team improved to 3-4 on its Eastern European Tour with a 3-2 victory against Innsbruck at Innsbruck, Austria on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Junior outside hitter Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) and freshman Erin Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) led the 'Cat attack with 12 kills apiece. Coler also contributed three service aces, eight digs and three blocks.
Junior Erin Ludwig (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and freshman Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) split time at the setter position. Ludwig registered 25 assists as well as six kills, six digs and two blocks. Davis compiled 22 assists, six digs and four blocks.
Senior co-captain Lauren Knight (Centerville, Mass.) and sophomore Jen Williams (Mountain View, Calif.) tied for the team lead with 18 digs. Coler also contributed to the offense with eight kills.
The UNH women's volleyball team plays its last match on the Eastern European trip in Sonthofen, Germany on Wednesday, Aug. 21 and begins the 2002 regular season Friday, Aug. 30 vs. the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
