New Hampshire Volleyball sweeps Albany, 3-0

ALBANY, N.Y. - The University of New Hampshire volleyball team rebounded from Saturday's tough 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Northeastern Huskies with a 3-0 win over the University of Albany at University Gym on Sunday.

The Great Danes made it close in the first game, 31-29, but the Wildcats coasted in the next two games, 30-20, 30-18, for the win. Sophomore Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) was once again as top performer for the Wildcats with 10 kills and 12 digs.

UNH improves to 8-5, 2-1 in America East, while the loss drops the Great Danes to 3-10, 0-3 AE.

Junior Lauren Knight (Centerville, Mass.) finished with nine kills, while sophomore Natasha Otte (Plymouth, N.H.) picked up seven kills and five blocks. Junior Brin Hanna (Los Alamitos, Calif.) four aces and five digs.

The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Boston College (7 p.m.).
