PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Senior Keely Maguire (Georgetown, Mass.) and junior Anne Twombly (Exeter, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team each competed at the Penn Relays on Thursday, recording personal bests in their respective events.
Maguire highlighted the day as she finished third overall in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 34:50.21. Her time topped her previous personal best of 35:18.11 and was also the second-fastest time in UNH history.
Twombly finished 15th overall in the 3,000 meter run, crossing the line to a new personal best time of 9:49.17. Her previous best time of 9:49.99 was set at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 22-23, 2013).
