DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire track & field programs will be hosting a two-day outdoor clinic on Nov. 24-25 at the Paul Sweet Oval and Reggie F. Atkins Track, located at the University's Field House. The two-hour clinic will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on both days and is open to all male and female athletes in grades 7 though 12.
Camp instruction will include learn-by-doing instruction and the fundamentals of technique and training on topics such as sprints, jumps, hurdles and throws.
Cost of the clinic is $80 if pre-registered at least one day before the clinic and $100 for same day registration. On-site registration will take place on Nov. 24, the first day of the clinic, from 5:30 - 6 p.m. Additionally, there is team discount at the rate of $60 per person if a team enrolls with ten or more athletes.
The camp instructors will be UNH track & field director Jim Boulanger, UNH women's track & field head coach Casey Carroll and UNH women's track & field assistant coach George Liset. Boulanger and Carroll are both USATF Level II certified while Liset is USATF Level I certified.
