Women's Swimming & Diving Wraps up Brown Invitational
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of New Hampshire women's swimming & diving team wrapped up the three-day Brown Invitation Sunday evening at the Coleman Aquatic Center at Brown University.
On the third and final day of the event, Katie Mann (Prince George, British Columbia) swam to a second place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:14.63, an NCAA provisional mark. Jennifer Roberts (Springvale, Maine) finished first in her group final in the 200 fly, clocking in at 2:02.05. The Maine native also notched a third place finish in the 200 IM (2:03.18) in Saturday's events.
Sydney Tribou (Orlando, Fla.) competed in a host of events throughout the weekend, including the 500 free (5:01.53), the 200 free (1:51.90) and the 100 free (52.73). Jenna Bull (Woodstock, New Brunswick) also turned in solid performances in her events. Bull took a second place finish in her group of the 400 IM, touching the wall with a time of 4:28.95 while clocking in at 59.60 in the 100 back.
The Wildcats return to the pool for competition on Wednesday, January 16 when they host Dartmouth at Swasey Pool. The meet has a start time of 6 p.m.
