CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ellen Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) a sophomore on the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team, was honored as the America East Diver of the Week by the conference Tuesday afternoon.

Pelletier swept the diving events this past weekend helping the Wildcats remain unbeaten (3-0) this season, propelling them to a 190-110 victory over Central Connecticut State (Nov. 6). She took first place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 229.57, while also claiming first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 217.19.

New Hampshire placed first in 12 events on the day, breaking a pair of pool records on its way to earning the win. The 'Cats have also notched wins over Siena (Oct. 16) and Wagner (Oct. 17), outscoring their opponents by a combined margin of 223.1 points this season.

Pelletier and the Wildcats return to action Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. when they return home to take on the University of Rhode Island at Swasey Pool.
