DURHAM, N.H. — Josh Willman, head coach of the University of New Hampshire swim teams, announced the addition of four women – Ana Dowell (Phoenix, Ariz.), Shana Dege (Lockport, N.Y.), Sarah Guyett (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Catherine McDonough (Chatham, N.J.) – to the 2004-2005 UNH roster on Friday.




DURHAM, N.H. — Josh Willman, head coach of the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team, announced Wednesday that Amanda Paul (Reston, Va.), Michelle Kellerman (East Providence, R.I.) and Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.) will all serve as senior captains for the Wildcats in the 2004-05 season.




PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) won three individual events and was part of two winning relay teams to earn women's Swimmer of the Meet award as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team placed third at the ECAC Championships, which were held last weekend at the University of Pittsburgh.




ORONO, Maine – Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) and Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.) were individual champions in the 500-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke, respectively, to lead the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team to third place at the America East Championships, which were held Feb. 20-22 at the University of Maine's Wallace Pool.




ORONO, Maine – Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) outdistanced herself from the competition in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10 minutes, 20.42 seconds to set a school record and lead the University of New Hampshire swim team to Thursday night's 181-118 victory against the University of Maine at Wallace Pool.




BOSTON – Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.) won three individual events but the University of New Hampshire women’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Northeastern University, 163-131, on Monday night.




LEWISBURG, Pa. – Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) won two events to lead the University of New Hampshire women’s swimming and diving team to a third-place finish at last weekend’s Bucknell Invitational.




DURHAM, N.H. - Josh Willman, head coach of the women's swimming and diving team at the University of New Hampshire, announced Tuesday that he received five national letters of intent from student-athletes who will begin competing for the UNH swim team in Fall 2004.




DURHAM, N.H. - Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) won three events and the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team took first place in all 13 events to defeat Binghamton University, 183-58, Sunday afternoon at Swasey Pool.




DURHAM, N.H. - Led by a pair of first-place finishes by both Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) and Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.), the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team defeated both Colgate University, 136-106, and the University of Vermont, 182-57, Saturday afternoon at UNH's Swasey Pool.




BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team tied Boston University, 150-150, on Saturday, November 1. Sophomore Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) posted victories in four events including the 1000-yard, 500 and 200 free as well as the 400 freestyle relay. Also winning multiple events tonight was junior Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.), who took first in the 200 medley relay, 100 and 200 backstroke, and the 200 individual medley.




DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team opened the 2003-04 season this past weekend at UNH's Swasey Pool with dominating victories against the University of Rhode Island, 221-79, and the University of Massachusetts, 168-32.
