WOMEN'S SOCCER GARNERS NCAA ACADEMIC TEAM AWARD
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women’s soccer team was one of 234 soccer programs to post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2005-06 academic year.
    The Wildcats recorded a grade point average of 3.08. UNH is one of just three members from the America East to receive such an accomplishment. Binghamton and the University of Vermont are the other two rival programs that were recognized by the NCAA.
    The Wildcats made a league best sixth straight appearance in the playoffs and advanced to the semifinals before falling 2-1 to eventual conference champion Hartford en route to compiling a 6-11-1 overall record.
