The win, Drexel’s second-ever in league play, snapped a six-game losing skid and improved the team to 4-10-1 (2-4-0), marking the highest win total in the program’s four-year history. UNH suffered its third straight loss, falling to 6-9-1 (2-5-1).

10/01/1999 Burlington, VT — Sophomore Brooke Berger netted one goal and set up the game-winner to lift the University of Vermont past visiting New Hampshire, 2-1, in an America East Conference women's socrer match this afternoon. Vermont got on the board first when Berger headed in a ball from teammate Michelle Armentano in the 37th minute. Armentano brought the ball down the right wing and served a cross in front of the UNH net where Berger was waiting. She headed the ball over the outstretched arms of Wildcat goalkeeper Stephanie Springer (Solana Beach, CA) and into the upper cornet, giving UVM a 1-0 lead at the half.
09/26/1999 DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team tied Northeastern University Sunday, 0-0. Wildcat senior forward Chatham Flynn (Pike, N.H.) had a chance to score with 30 second remaining in the second overtime, but was stuffed by Huskies goalkeeper Rachelle Paterson.

07/28/1999 The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team has advanced to the America East Championships three of the last four years, and the 1999 squad aims to maintain that success. "The goal is to return to the conference championships to fulfill our ultimate goal of competing in the NCAAs for a national title," fifth-year head coach Michael Jackson said. "Our conference champion is an automatic NCAA tournament qualifier and the challenge for that berth grows greater every year. All of our conference teams are improved."
