DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse program will hold a Winter Thaw Preseason Clinic for players aged 11-18 on Sunday, March 4 from 10am-2pm at UNH's Memorial Field. It's a great way for players to "thaw out" their skills and get ready for the upcoming season.
At our clinic, we will be focusing on the fundamentals in all aspects of the game including offense, defense and midfield. There will be a heavy emphasis on stick work, 1v1 defense, shooting and the draw.
Goalies are always welcome and will receive 1-on-1 instruction from the UNH goalkeepers as well as the UNH coaching staff. We will work with goalies on footwork, clears and saves.
Our goal for the Winter Thaw Preseason Clinic is to get you back into shape and take your game to the next level. Players attending our clinic will learn something new they can take back to their teams.
The staff will include UNH assistant coaches Meg Reddy, Bryana Borrelli and Ashley Durepo as well as your Division I UNH Wildcats.
Cost for the clinic is $80 per player. If you sign up with four additional players from your team, the cost will be $70/player. Sign up quickly because spots are limited.
Please remember to bring: stick, goggles, mouthguard, water bottle, sneakers and Turfs (if possible) as well as a great attitude.
Prizes will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player and for the Best Stick Trick.
