BALTIMORE, Md.-- Jess Burnap (New Canaan, Conn.), a senior midfielder and tri-captain on the 2005 University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team, scored a goal to help the North squad record a 10-9 victory vs. the South at the IWLCA Farewell Festival that was held at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) last weekend.

Burnap, who ranked second on the Wildcats in both assists (17) and points (58) as well as third in goals (41) in the 2005 season, opened the second-half scoring to tie the game 5-5 and her tally ignited a five-goal surge that gave the North team a lead of 9-5 that it would not relinquish.

Burnap, a three-time America East All-Conference First Team selection and 2004 conference Player of the Year, amassed a total of 213 points on 168 goals and 45 assists, and is one of just five Wildcats ranked on the program's all-time top 10 list in all three categories - second in both goals and points as well as ninth in assists.
