New Hampshire lacrosse plays home opener April 3

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team will play its home opener April 3 against Brown University. Game time at Memorial Field is 3:30 p.m.

The Wildcats, who have not played since a 9-5 loss at Vanderbilt University on March 20, are 2-3 this season. All three losses were to nationally-ranked teams.

UNH is led offensively by junior Jessie Groszkowski (Reistertown, Md.), who has 15 points, all on goals. Classmate Danielle Martin (Ellicott City, Md.) leads the America East conference in goals-against-average (7.20) and save percentage (.644).

New Hampshire opens its America East conference slate April 5 (2 p.m.) at the University of Vermont. The Wildcats return home against Northwestern University on April 6. Game time at Memorial Field is 3:30 p.m.
