Crossley Tabbed as the Pro Ambitions Co-Rookie of the Week by WHEA

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Alexis Crossley (Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia) of the University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team was named the Pro Ambitions Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced by Hockey East Monday afternoon.

The rookie tallied four assists on the week, dishing out at least one in all three games. Crossley matched her career high with two in Sunday's 3-3 tie against Providence. On the season, she has scored six times from the blueline and has dished out a team-leading 14 assists for 20 points. She also leads the team in power play goals with four.

Crossley was previously honored by Hockey East as the Rookie of the Week for the week of Oct. 22 and earned the distinction of WHEA Rookie of the Month for her play in December.

The Wildcats return to the ice on Wednesday, February 20 as they travel to Boston University to wrap up the season series with the Terriers. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
