UNH women's hockey climbs to No. 6

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team climbed one spot to No. 6 in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll that was released Tuesday. UNH held its position at No. 8 in this week's USCHO.com Poll.

UNH extended its unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) and improved to 10-1-1 last week with a 1-0 victory at Northeastern University on Nov. 21.

In the USA Today/AHM poll, the 'Cats moved ahead of Brown. UNH surpassed Wisconsin in the USCHO poll but Providence, which recorded a 5-2 victory against fourth-ranked Dartmouth, advanced three spots to No. 6.

New Hampshire returns to action this weekend for a two-game home series against Niagara University. Game 1 is Nov. 30 and the two-game set ends Dec. 1. Both games at the Whittemore Center begin at 2 p.m.
