PROVIDENCE, RI -- Senior forward Ali Kenney netted two goals as Brown University handed the University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team its second shutout of the season, 3-0, on Friday night.

The Wildcats are now 22-8-0 and 15-8-0 in the ECAC. Brown improves to 18-3-3 and 16-2-3 in league play.

Kenney netted an empty-net goal at 19:26 of the third period to close out the scoring.

In the second period, Brown took a 2-0 lead when freshman forward Kim Insalaco put one past UNH freshman goaltender Jen Huggon low stick side.

Brown got on the board at 15:01 of the first when Kenney scored on a breakaway.

Huggon fnished with 26 saves and Brwon goaltender Ali Brewer made 27 stops.

The Wildcats travel to Harvard University on Saturday, February 26 for a 7 p.m. start.
