Taryn Christian joined the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball staff in September 2011 as the director of basketball operations.
As the director of basketball operations, Christian is primarily responsible for all film exchange, team travel, continued development of alumni and the friends of women's basketball group and all other administrative duties. She is also responsible for the organization of all summer clinics and will serve as the community service and life skills liaison.
Prior to joining UNH, Christian was a member of the Northeastern University women’s basketball team from 2007-2011. During the 2010-11 season, Christian gained experience as the team’s student assistant coach and director of team travel. In that role, she assisted in budgeting, maintaining a recruiting database, film exchange, traveling and travel planning, staffing and scheduling, player development, academic standards, public relations and media, and recreational programs.
A native of Silver Spring, Md., Christian graduated from Northeastern in 2011 with a degree in criminal justice.
