University of New Hampshire head women's basketball coach Sue Johnson has announced the hiring of Jen MacAulay (Ottawa, Ontario) as the program's graduate assistant coach, beginning July 1.

Whitney Edwards (Mount Vernon, N.Y.), UNH's junior point guard, was voted by the conference coaches onto the All-Defensive Team, created this season to recognize five players for their efforts on the defensive side of the court.


The Wildcats, 15-12 overall and 7-9 in America East, will face third-seed Boston University in the quarterfinals of the tournament at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10. UNH swept the regular season series from the Terriers, including a 76-63 victory in the final home game of the regular season on February 25.
