UNH Women's Basketball falls at St. Bonaventure, 54-37

OLEAN, N.Y. - The New Hampshire Wildcats could not find the shooting range all afternoon, as they lost to the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 54-37, Saturday afternoon at the Reilly Center.

The Wildcats shot only 22.4 percent from the field, including 12 percent from the three-point line, and 26.7 percent from the free throw line. UNH fell behind 18-3 in the first half and could not mount a comeback.

Danielle Clark (Corinna, Maine) led the Wildcats with 11 points, while Ebony Woods (Philadelphia, Pa.) hit two three-pointers on her way to ten points. Ray Williams (Mississauga, Ontario), whose shot attempts that were falling against Providence on Wednesday did not fall in this game, led all players with 12 rebounds, eight of them on the offensive end.

For St. Bonaventure (5-6), Tory Vyborny led all players with 14 points, plus she grabbed seven rebounds. Stefanie Collins, who scored 32 points against UNH last season, was held to ten points, while Olecia Miller came off the bench to score ten points and pull down a team-high nine rebounds.

New Hampshire (4-5) begins conference play on Wednesday, January 5, against the Albany Great Danes at Lundholm Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
