DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball program and head coach Sue Johnson announced that they have received national letters of intent from three players to compete for the Wildcats at the start of the 2002-2003 academic season.
UNH has received commitments from 6-foot-3 post player Diana Dilworth (Sparta, N.J.) of Sparta High, Ebony Woods (Philadelphia, Pa.), a 5-9 guard at Friends Select Academy, and Emily Hardy (Westbrook, Conn.), a 5-6 point guard at Westbrook High.
"We're very excited about next year's incoming freshman class," says Johnson. "We believe Diana, Ebony and Emily all have the potential to contribute to the program."
UNH (2-3) is back in action Saturday (11/28) against defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champion Siena College at Lundholm Gymnasium. Game time is 1 p.m.
