Men’s Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regionals

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Junior Cory Sinotte (Hooksett, N.H.) placed 88th overall to lead the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team to a 21st-place finish at the 33-team NCAA Northeast Regional Saturday afternoon at the University at Buffalo.

The Wildcats finished with 559 points and were the third highest America East Conference finisher, trailing only Boston U. and Albany. Syracuse University won the meet with 54 points.

Sinotte completed the 10-kilometer course in a time of 33 minutes, 23 seconds.

Graduate student Andrew Dionne (Westerly, R.I.) and freshman Jeff Moretti (Guilford, Conn.) finished 104th and 117th, respectively, in times of 33:34 and 33:47.

Senior Alexander Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) placed 122nd overall in a time of 33:52, while freshman John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) finished 128th in a time of 33:58.
