MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES 14TH AT NCAA REGIONALS

RESULTS


BOSTON – Senior Robert Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.) finished 30th overall to help the University of New Hampshire men’s cross country team to a 14th-place finish at the 34-team NCAA Division I New England Regional Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Harvard University.

Edgerton finished the 10 kilometer course in a time of 30 minutes, 47.45 seconds.


The Wildcats ended up with 342 points. The winner, Iona College, scored 37 points.


Junior Brent Powers (Remsden, N.Y.) was the next fastest Wildcat, placing 60th in the 230-runner field. He finished the race in a time of 31:22.85.


Senior Jordan Horwitz (Evanston, Ill.) and sophomores Wesley Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska) and Joshua Kearns (Ridgefield, Conn.) rounded out the Wildcat runners who finished in the top 100. Horwitz placed 73rd in a time of 31:35.10, Dinnan finished 80th in a time of 31:42.35 and Kearns was 99th in 32:06.25.


The NCAA National Championships take place Monday, Nov. 19.
