DURHAM, N.H. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced that the University of New Hampshire finished third in the nation in the Fair Play rating System for the 2012 season.
The Wildcats finished the season with a total of just 12 yellow cards through the 20 games played and were not issued a red card. These statistics earned the 'Cats a rating of 14.2, well below the national average of 26.3.
Additionally, New Hampshire also committed the fewest fouls in America East for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Last year, the Wildcats finished the season with the fewest cards in the nation.
