    New Hampshire had neither hosted a home game nor won a conference playoff game since 1994.
    Both teams played through a mostly scoreless first half until Banks headed the ball in for the score off a corner kick from sophomore midfielder Scott Rowling (Richboro, Pa.) with 1:18 left in the half.
    Rowling added to the cause 1 minute 6 seconds into the second half with a 20-yard blast into the top right corner to put New Hampshire up 2-0.
    Banks scored his second goal of the game in the 84th minute when he broke away just before midfield and chipped in a 10-yard shot past the goalkeeper.
    Junior forward Bryan Stewart (Swanzey, N.H.) scored the Wildcats’ fourth goal with 51 seconds remaining in the game with a 10-yard shot into the top right corner off a pass from sophomore forward A.J. Dubois (Acworth, N.H.)
    Senior goalkeeper Brian Levey (Pittsburgh, Pa.) posted nine saves for his 10th shutout of the season, tying his own school record set in 2005.
    New Hampshire (12-4-3, 6-2-1 AE) will take on Vermont in the America East semifinals November 1 at UVM.
