05/20/2004 DURHAM, N.H.— The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the addition of six student-athletes to the Class of 2008. Defender John Bergvist (Hollviken, Sweden), defender Luke DeCiccio (Boylston, Mass.), forward Kyle Genereux (Harrisville, R.I.), forward/midfielder Adam Marcellus (Malvern, Pa.), midfielder Daniel Revis (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) and goalkeeper Anthony Riccio (Sandown, N.H.) will join the Wildcat men's soccer team in the fall. These six student-athletes round out a strong incoming nine-member class, including Derek Bragg, Michael Davis and Richard Weinrebe who signed earlier this spring.
04/26/2004 DURHAM, N.H. — The Wildcat men's soccer team was defeated by the New Hampshire Phantoms, 3-1 Sunday, April 25th on Bremner Field in the final match of their spring season on the UNH campus.

03/18/2004 DURHAM, N.H. — Rob Thompson, 11th-year men's soccer head coach at the University of New Hampshire, announced Monday that Michael Davis (Tigard, Oregon) has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the UNH men's soccer program for the fall 2004 season.
03/09/2004 DURHAM, N.H. - University of New Hampshire head men's soccer coach Rob Thompson announced Tuesday that Derek Bragg (Downingtown, Pa.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to enroll at UNH and join the men's soccer program in the fall of 2004. Bragg is the second player to sign with the Wildcats this spring.

02/09/2004 DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire head men's soccer coach Rob Thompson announced Friday that Bryan Stewart (Swanzey, N.H.) has joined the men's soccer program for the spring semester 2004. Stewart, a 2003 graduate of Monadnock High School, deferred enrollment in the fall to participate in a soccer training program in Holland.
12/09/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - Senior Brendan Hankard (Glastonbury, Conn.) and junior Tyler Jackson (Amherst, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England Team announced Tuesday. Hankard was a Second Team selection while Jackson was named to the Third Team. It marks the first time UNH has had two players named All-New England since 1998.
11/05/2003 BOSTON - Senior Brendan Hankard (Glastonbury, Conn.) and junior Tyler Jackson (Amherst, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team were named to the America East All-Conference team announced Wednesday afternoon. Hankard was a First Team selection for the second consecutive year, while Jackson was a Second Team selection.
11/01/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team closed out the 2003 season with a 2-0 loss to Binghamton Saturday afternoon at Lewis Field. The Wildcats end the season with an overall record of 8-9-0 and a 3-6-0 mark in America East. The Bearcats improved their overall record to 10-2-6 (4-1-4 America East).

The win, which keeps UNH's chances at a bid to the America East Men's Soccer Championship alive, improves the Wildcats to 8-8-0 overall and 3-5-0 in conference play, while the Great Danes fall to 5-9-2 overall and 2-5-1 in America East play.

08/31/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - Tournament Most Valuable Player Brendan Hankard (Glastonbury, Conn.) netted the only goal of the game in the 26th minute as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team captured its second consecutive Nike Fall Soccer Classic championship with a 1-0 win over Iona in the tournament finale at Lewis Field Sunday afternoon. UNH improves to 2-0-0 on the season while Iona stands at 1-1.
08/29/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - Five different players netted goals as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team opened the 2003 season with a 5-1 win over St. Joseph's (Pa.) in the opening round of the Nike Fall Soccer Classic. UNH starts at 1-0 for the second straight year while the Hawks fall to 0-1.
08/28/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire will play host to one of the top men's collegiate soccer tournaments in the Northeast as the 14th annual Nike Fall Soccer Classic takes place this weekend. The tourney kicks off Friday (August 29) with Iona facing Vermont at 2 p.m. and UNH taking on St. Joseph's (Pa.) at 4:30. Sunday, August 31, the Catamounts take on St. Joseph's at 12:30 p.m. while the Wildcats face Iona in the tournament finale at 3. The tournament is scheduled to be played at Lewis Field behind the Field House and adjacent to Cowell Stadium.
08/21/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - As freshmen, they won six games. As sophomores, they earned UNH its first postseason berth in seven seasons and followed that up as juniors by recording the program's first 10-win campaign since 1995 and advancing to the America East tournament for the second straight season. Now, as seniors, the class of 2004 will look to bring home New Hampshire's first America East conference title and with it earn the program's second-ever NCAA berth.
08/18/2003 BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team was picked to finish third out of 10 schools in America East in the preseason coaches' poll released Monday, totaling 56 points and garnering a first place vote. New Hampshire's third place selection is its highest since 1994, when the 'Cats were picked second and received a first place vote. That year UNH went 15-5-2, reached the North Atlantic Conference finals and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.
08/13/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - Nicola Chicco (Claymont, Del.) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team has signed a professional contract with Triestina of Serie B of the Italian League, the second division, and will forego his final year of eligibility at UNH. Chicco signed a three-year contract with the club. He is the first Wildcat men's soccer player to play professionally in Europe.
08/01/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - Marc Hubbard, a former soccer standout at Oyster River High School who recently wrapped up a four-year career at Colgate University, has joined the University of New Hampshire men's soccer coaching staff, UNH head coach Rob Thompson announced today.
