MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO NORTHEASTERN 1-0

BROOKLINE, Mass. - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team lost 1-0 to Northeastern University Wednesday afternoon at Parsons Field. With the loss, the Wildcats are now 6-8-0 overall and 1-5-0 in America East, while the Huskies improve to 7-5-3 and 4-2-1 in the league.

NU got its only goal in the 55th minute when Joe Parrish collected a deflection off a UNH player in the box and put it home for his second game-winning goal of the season.

New Hampshire goalkeeper Brian Levey (Pittsburgh, Pa.) recorded four saves, while Northeastern's Sergio Saccoccio made five saves.

UNH returns to action Saturday (October 25) when it hosts Stony Brook in a 1:00 pm game at Lewis Field.
