MEN'S SOCCER NINTH IN NEW ENGLAND

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team is ranked ninth in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) New England Region ranking. The rankings were released Monday afternoon.

The Wildcats lost both games they placed last week, dropping a 3-0 decision at Boston University Wednesday then falling to Hartford 1-0 at home on Sunday. Both teams appear in this week's poll, with the Terriers occupying the No. 3 slot while the Hawks check in at No. 8 in the region.

New Hampshire looks to break its two-game slide when it hosts Vermont in an America East Conference match Wednesday, October 15. Game time at Lewis Field is 3:00 pm.
