DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team is ranked third in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) New England Region poll released Monday. The Wildcats (4-2-0) have been ranked in each of the first three weeks and were ranked second last week.

UNH split a pair of games this past weekend at the Josh Byrden Classic hosted by the University of Denver. The 'Cats posted a 2-1 overtime win on Friday (Sept. 12) against Air Force before being defeated by the host Pioneers 3-2 in double overtime on Sunday (Sept. 14). Senior Brett Wyman (Durham, N.H.) had a pair of goals in the tournament, including the game-winner with nine seconds left in the first overtime session against the Falcons.

New Hampshire opens America East play Wednesday (Sept. 17) when they face Maine in a 3:00 game in Orono. The next UNH home game is September 27 when the 'Cats host Massachusetts at 4 p.m. at Bremner Field.
