COLUMBIA, S.C. - The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to College of Charleston 2-1 Sunday in the second round of the South Carolina Gamecock Classic at Stone Stadium. The Wildcats now stand at 4-2-0 on the season.

Charleston (3-2-1) would tie the game four minutes later when Ricardo Granardos scored on a corner kick. The Cougars netted the game-winner on a Sage Martina tally with 45 seconds to play.

Goalie Mike Vignola (Hudson, N.H.) made six saves for UNH while Charleston's Keith Wiggans made three stops.

UNH returns to action when they face UMass in a 3:30 p.m. game in Amherst. The next Wildcat home game is October 5, when UNH takes on Northeastern in a 2:00 p.m. game at Lewis Field.
