DURHAM, N.H. - Christian Pauckstadt (Wuppertal, Germany) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team was named to the 2002 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's College Soccer All-East Team as an Honorable Mention selection announced recently. A senior defender, Pauckstadt is a business administration major at UNH.

A three-year member of the Wildcats, Pauckstadt started all 16 games he has appeared in this season and a total of 39 games over his career. This season, he was part of a UNH defense that allowed an America East-low 20 goals during the regular season en route to the 'Cats 10-4-2 regular season mark and a berth in the America East tournament as the 'Cats reached postseason play for the second-straight year. Pauckstadt also served as co-captain this season.

Pauckstadt is a three-time America East Academic Honor Roll selection and received the UNH men's soccer program's H. Richard Sandler Award for academic achievement in 2000. Last season, he received the squad's Harvey Johnson award as the most inspirational player on the team.
