DURHAM, N.H. - The Friends of UNH Soccer will be holding a golf tournament on Monday, May 7 at Pease Golf Club in Portsmouth, N.H as part of Alumni Weekend. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. and features prizes valued at more than $1000. The scramble is open to the public and is not limited to UNH alumni. Although prizes will be awarded, the tournament is essentially for fun and allows alumni and friends to gather to support Wildcat soccer, as proceeds from the tournament benefit the University of New Hampshire men's soccer program.

The cost per person for the tournament is $100, which includes greens fees, golf cart, locker room privileges as well as a barbecue lunch. Guests may also attend lunch for $25 per person. Each player will also receive a special Nike gift package for participating in the event. If unable to play, people can still support the tournament by sponsoring the event.

Alumni Weekend kicks off with an alumni match on Sunday, May 6 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at UNH's Lewis Field. The teams will be split up according to graduation year with the "evens" against the "odds". Friends of the program are welcome to play as well. Following the match, there will be a catered reception from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hickory Pond Inn in Durham, N.H.
