MIKE RADJA NAMED HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Wakefield, MASS. – Junior forward Mike Radja (Yorkville, Ill.) of the University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team was named CCM/RBK Player of the Week by the Hockey East Association on Monday afternoon for the second time this season.
    Radja totaled four points on the week (2g, 2a) in the weekend sweep of Merrimack College. He recorded two points (1g, 1a) in the 3-1 win on Friday at the Whittemore Center and also had a two-point effort in the 4-1 victory on Saturday at Lawler Arena.
    He ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 27 points (17g, 10a) and his goal total is best on the Wildcats’ roster. Radja ranks second in the nation scoring 0.77 goals per game. He has posted a point in 17 of 22 games and has notched a goal in 13 games. Radja has a point in seven of his last nine games, which includes a three-game point and goal streak with 3-2-5 in that time.
    The No. 3 ranked Wildcats (22-5-1, 17-3-1 HE) return to action Friday, Feb. 16 vs. Boston University. Game time the Whittemore Center is a special start of 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised live by the New England Sports Network (NESN).
