NHPTV announces 05-06 UNH hockey broadcast schedule

DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire athletic department and New Hampshire Public Television have announced the 10-game men's ice hockey television schedule for the upcoming 2005-2006 season.

The first NHPTV broadcast will be Saturday, Oct. 22 against the national runner-up North Dakota Fighting Sioux. The other highlighted games on the schedule include: Nov. 12 vs. Maine, Jan. 7 vs. Vermont, Feb. 18 vs. Boston University and March 4 vs. Boston College.

The remaining five games are: Nov. 18 vs. UMass-Lowell, Nov. 26 vs. Northeastern, Dec. 30 vs. Niagara, Jan. 21 vs. Massachusetts and Feb. 25 vs. Providence.

Dan Parkhurst will serve as the play-by-play voice of Wildcat hockey and Bob Norton will handle color commentary for the 10-game schedule.

All 10 games will be broadcast live from the Whittemore Center beginning at 7 p.m. The NHPTV broadcasts are also available on the internet via webcast at www.nhptv.org.
