DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team is ranked third in this week's US College Hockey Online poll. The Wildcat moved up one spot from last week's poll after a 10-0 win over Vermont on Saturday, Oct. 12 in Burlington, Vt. The University of Michigan, the No. 3 team last week, dropped to No. 6 after going 1-1 in the opening weekend.
UNH was again the highest ranked Hockey East team in the poll with 497 points and one first place vote.
The Wildcats will face the No. 1 team in the nation, as the defending national champion Minnesota Golden Gophers come to Durham for weekend series at the Whittemore Center on Oct. 18 and 19.
